For years the WCHR and ECHR have been know for our debut winners....Yesterday's opener featured a $19 first timer, today's debut winner returned $28.....

FIRST RACE:  Things begin with a Maiden Special Weight at 5 ½ furlongs on the TURF. Top selection is SHIRL’S SOUL TOWN (#1). He debuts for Rice, a 4 year old by Speightstown, and what’s interesting is that the connections have obviously liked their decision when it came to breeding to this one’s mare, breeding to Bee Jersey three times, Speightstown three times, and twice to More Than Ready. This tells us the runners have looked good, put together well, prompting ‘em to go back multiple times to these particular stallions. Back around 2002, I wrote an article for American Turf Monthly entitled “The Odd Equals Beware,” where I discussed the odd path a horse can take to his or her debut, and we like this one’s path - The Thoroughbred Center, Belmont, now up at Saratoga, a plan in place heading into this first effort upstate with solid turf jock Jose Ortiz taking the call.

SECOND RACE: A VERY NICE group of Maiden Special Weights going a mile, kicks things off. Top selection is TUNING IN (#7), debuting for Bond, as we mention often about him, he doesn’t win with first timers most of the year, but he looks to fire with ‘em at Saratoga, not that he becomes a win machine, but rather, he has many of his first timers well meant July through September. This son of Upstart has been working super, and we like Zayas up, as he’ll send from the gate putting him on the lead. The mare was hard trying, in the money 11 of 14, and she’s been asked quite a bit as a broodmare, producing 11 foals to date, 7 winners on the track.

TYSON FURY vs JOSHUA ANTHONY FIGHT!  Another GIMMICK probably!  After Fury's last fight Anthony challenged him in some WWE format staged, canned, challenged: these events are for SHEEPLE with a LOW IQ!

I didn't watch the CONNOR MACK fight in VEGAS not interest to me the Fights have turned GIMMICK!  Figures MACK goes down ASAP after the fight starts!  Ferralls take that VEGAS will not REFUND anybody any money is CORRECT and everyone knows this!  I watched GYPSY KING fight last time on Netflix and it was a GIMMICK!  Like Mayweather fights a GIMMICK!
