The Key: Shane McClanahan looks back to full strength tis season.  He is 6-2 with a 2.45 ERA and 1.01 WHIP in 11 starts.  McClanahan is 2-0 with a 0.82 ERA in 2 lifetime starts against the Marlins, yielding only one ER in 11 innings with 12 strikeouts.  The Marlins have a ton of injuries to their rotation which has given their bullpen a ton of use lately.  They look to be going with an opener and possibly Bradley Blalock, who went 2-6 with a 9.36 ERA and 1.84 WHIP last year yielding 61 ER and 17 HR in 58 2/3 innings.  Take Tampa Bay.

No match for the 6-5 winner, but a clear cut second for INTO THE UNKNOWN at 69-1.

Understanding when a horse hasn't been switching leads, but speculating they'll do so today, finding another gear, can often lead to nice prices!

SIXTH RACE: A Maiden Special Weight at seven furlongs. Top selection is INTO THE UNKNOWN (#13). In her debut she didn’t switch leads until near the wire, clearly a tired runner as well. Last time out, she was restrained on the backside, wanting to go, Elliott trying to teach her to settle behind runners, and again, down the lane, didn’t switch leads until late, but did gallop out strongly, clearly a fitter horse second time around. Today, back on schedule, and this ⅞ distance gives her a bit more time to switch leads, finding another gear late, with Elliott stringing along.
