I knew the wheels were coming off early in that game when the Sox first baseman forgot to cover first base on a ground ball straight to the second baseman. Dude was in lala land. A minute before that debacle, Dan Plesac said on the Chicago broadcast, “the Sox have done a terrific job drafting athletic players that can adapt and play new positions they aren’t used to playing.” Is that right Danny?
