Awards like these are supposed to honor dominance in a position, not be consolation prizes for hype or versatility.

This pattern of awards prioritizing storyline over on-field merit undermines the credibility of CFB honors. If wins the "triple crown" Jeanty was robbed...twice!! He was instrumental in Boise's 12-1 record and getting in to the CFP. He almost broke Barry Sanders' single-season record for chrissakes!
